We believe every family carries an original design, given long before the plans were drawn. Your house is meant to be part of that design, not separate from it. That is why we build around your land and your life. We listen before we draft, and we build with the same care we would want for our own families. The result is a home that reflect who you are.

You will be apart of the journey from start to finish.

Consultation

A site walk and a working session. We assess your land, your program, and your budget range, and we tell you honestly whether we are the right builder for it.

Design & Budget

We work with your architect or bring design partners in. Plans, engineering, selections, and allowances are locked into a fixed contract price.

Pre-Construction

Permits, site prep, and scheduling. All trades are booked, and long-lead material ordered.

Construction

We manage the project from foundation to finish. You get a monthly report with photos and budget status.

Handover

A room-by-room walkthrough, full documentation of systems and finishes, and a one-year workmanship warranty we answer for personally.

Fixed price

The contract price is the price. Changes happen only by written change order, signed by you first.

Monthly reporting

Every month you receive photos, schedule status, and budget position. You will never wonder where things stand.

One supervisor

Our crew runs your job from the first site walk to the final walkthrough.

Our Story
OUR ORIGINAL DESIGN

Tekton Trades Construction was founded in 2024 in Middle Tennessee. The name comes from the Greek word tekton, the carpenter's trade recorded of Jesus. We took it as both a name and a standard: work done honestly, measured twice, and built to last.

Our crew carries over 50,000 hours of career craftsmanship earned on jobsites around the world. That experience is led by our general contractor, Phil Ward, who has built more than 60 homes with his own hands on every part of the process. Behind every one of those homes is the same conviction: people over projects.

Tekton Trades is owned and operated by Phillip Ward. Phil brings 50,000+ hours of expertise in master carpentry, custom furniture, metal fabrication, and welding, with work featured in luxury homes across the United States. His purpose in creating goes beyond craftsmanship. It is about collaboration and community.
